An autistic technologist writing about the things that won't leave him alone.
I've spent 40 years building software - platforms, infrastructure, systems. Somewhere along the way I started pulling at threads that go well beyond code: how machines think, whether consciousness is computable, what quantum mechanics actually means for the future, and why poetry still matters when everything's being automated.
This blog is where those threads end up.
You'll find writing on
- Artificial Intelligence - LLMs, reasoning, and the gaps between what machines do and what we think they do
- Quantum Computing - the frontier, not the hype
- Philosophy - consciousness, free will, ethics, reality
- Poetry - original verse, because some things resist prose
- Cosmology - the universe and our place in it
- Technology - the systems underneath everything else
None of this is academic. It's one person thinking out loud, with the benefit of having built things for a long time.
The name
Technonic - like tectonic, but for technology. Deep, powerful shifts that reshape everything.
